There's nothing in the Garden
and unless I'm losing my sight,
there was nothing again this morning.
It must have been there all night
It's hard to descibe nothing,
except in what it's not got.
But nothing can last forever
If you're not careful with your not
s.
I locked all the drink in the cellar
so nothing could get a the gin,
but by thremblo o'clock in the evening
nothing had got in!
Then I bolted the doors and the windows
so nothing could get out,
but nothing was there when I woke up –
Oh what a lazy lout!
So I called for the local philosopher
on his endless search for truth
Nothing gets in his way, you see
or at least it did, in his youth
I hear there's been a break in
and the intruder left nothing behind.
I have found that nothing improves
if you simply pay it no mind.
Nothing gets past you,
said I
and then when we looked it had gone!
But what if I end up with nothing again?
Then nothing, I fear, can be done.
